Free Facilities in Tirumala

Meals Wholesome and delicious free meals is being   provided to the devotees in the TTDs Annaprasadam Complex. From 9 a.m. to 11 pm continuously.  Food is also   served   in the compartments, at PAC-II, in food courts, queue lines and Alipiri footpath route.
Accommodation Pilgrim Amenities Complexes are available to the pilgrims for their free stay.
Laddu Prasadam TTD has now simplified the system of issuing laddu prasadams.  64 laddu counters Operate round the clock in Tirumala for issuing laddus to pilgrims. There   is   also a privilege of  booking extra laddus in on-line and e-Darshan counters and also while booking  Rs.300/- special entry darshan tickets
Jala Prasadam Free mineral water facility is available to the pilgrims across Tirumala. As TTD has aimed at making Tirumala a “Plastic-free” Zone, the pilgrims are requested not to carry plastic water bottles to Tirumala.
Medical-Aid Pilgrims are given free medical aid at Aswini Hospital and Vaikuntam ‘Q’ complex I & II. In case of emergency, the patients will be sent to the SVRR Government General Hospital, SVIMS or BIRRD for treatment at Tirupati. Apollo Cardiac Centre is also attached to Aswini hospital in Tirumala to offer preliminary medical aid to the patients suffering heart related ailments
Transport Free buses are operated within Tirumala for the benefit of pilgrims. It covers cottages, choultries, temple and other places.
Tonsure Pilgrims can fulfil their vow for tonsure at Kalyanakattas located in different areas in Tirumala.
Battery Cars For the aged and physically challenged persons to have darshan, TTD has arranged battery cars and wheel chairs from S.V. Museum to the queue line meant for this category of pilgrims.
Announcements Free announcement facility is available near temple exit point and Radio and Broadcasting centre located at Asthana Mandapam, if any pilgrim goes missing in Tirumala. The announcements are made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English.
Sainik Niwas Thirumala Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple is a famous Vedic temple in the hill town of Tirumala, near Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Venkateswara , an incarnation of lord Vishnu. Venkateswara is known by other names: Balaji,Govinda and Srinivasa. The temple is visited by millions of pilgrims annually. On special occasions and festivals, like the Brahmotsavam, the number of pilgrims shoots up to five million, making it the most-visited holy place in the world. The temple is also visited by a a large no of serving and retired army personnel and their families.
