Accommodation

Visiting pilgrims are provided with paid accommodation, free Choultries and dormitories at Tirupati. They can choose free halls where luggage can be kept in the lockers, sleep in the common hall and make use of common toilets and bathrooms. It will be difficult to get accommodation at Tirumala during weekends, festivals and seasonal vacations. Hence, pilgrims are advised to stay at Tirupati itself and visit Tirumala at the allotted date and time of Darshan.

ACCOMMODATION IN TIRUMALA

There are all around 7000 rooms available at Tirumala to accommodate nearly 45,000 pilgrims on any given day ranging from Rs.50/- to Rs.6,000/- rupees.

PILGRIM AMENITIES COMPLEXES (PAC): There are Five Pilgrim Amenities Complexes available in Tirumala. PAC 1, 2, 3, 5 are located in and around RTC Bus Stand and PAC 4 is located opposite to Kalyana Katta complex. Facilities like Lockers, Mats, Toilets, Hot water are arranged in all PACs free of cost.

Sainik Niwas Tirumala: Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple is a famous Vedic temple in the hill town of Tirumala, near Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of lord Vishnu. Venkateswara is known by other names: Balaji, Govinda and Srinivasa. The temple is visited by millions of pilgrims annually. On special occasions and festivals, like the Brahmotsavam, the number of pilgrims shoots up to five million, making it the most-visited holy place in the world. The temple is also visited by a a large no of serving and retired army personnel and their families.
